Refuse & Waste Collections

North Somerset Council has changed how they collect your recycling. Your green box collection day is now the same day as your refuse collection day. Green box collections are still fortnightly, however they now alternate with your green bag collection day.  

Kerbside recycling now includes green garden waste and cardboard. This is for collection of garden waste and corrugated cardboard for processing into soil conditioner. In future no garden waste is to be put into normal household waste bags.

Green boxes for your recycling, and green bags for your garden waste are available from North Somerset Council. To request one, contact their Streets and Open Space department on 01934 888 802.
